Final Thoughts on the Book
Overall I really enjoyed reading the book "The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian". I was hooked all the way through and the book was completely unpredictable. I was a little surprised about how it ended with so much sorrow leadin to the finally, but when I read how he bacame friends with Rowdy again, it created a happy ending. I highly recommend the book for people who haven't already read it for Melissa's English 102 class.

I really enjoyed reading the book too. It wasn't just a great novel with humor and sorrow mixed together, but also is an eye-openner since there are so many people who don't know about the lives Native Americans are living right now.
